Women's soccer brings on 10 new faces

Wayland Baptist women's soccer coach Shiloh Posey has added 10 recruits to his roster for the 2017 season.
 
"I am very excited about the class of 2017," Posey said. "I feel that each of these ladies will contribute very strongly to our success in the upcoming season. Each of these athletes has proven themselves on the field and in the classroom, and we are happy that they have chosen Wayland Baptist University as the next step in their lives."

The Pioneers lost only two seniors off last year's team, which qualified for the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament. Posey is looking to build a larger, deeper roster for the upcoming season.
 
"The addition of these ladies to the current group of dedicated athletes that we already have on the team will only serve to help our program to greater success," he said. "We look forward to the upcoming year and all that it will bring."
 
Posey continues to build his 2017 roster as he is still in the recruiting process.
