Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) proudly announced the recipients of the 2025 NAIA Men's Scholar All-American Awards on Friday and Wayland Baptist was well represented with nine Pioneers being recognized.
The following Pioneers earned this distinguished recognition:

Hunter McCarty
Joshua Ogden
Tyler Peterson
Jarrett Quinlan
Ethan Salazar
These exceptional student athletes have excelled both on and off the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria:
- Top 8 finishers in the NAIA individual national championship tournament and 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
- National qualifier as determined by the NAIA and a 3.25 Cumulative GPA.
- Conference tournament participant and a 3.5 Cumulative GPA.
- Wrestled in at least 15 competitions as listed in TrackWrestling.
