Bright, a senior from Ghana, ran the NAIA's third-fastest time of the season – 24 seconds flat – in the 200 meters at the Masked Rider Open hosted by Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Bright also helped the 4x100 relay team to a time of 45.97, the fourth-fastest clocking of the season in the NAIA.
