The Wayland Baptist University Athletics Media Relations & Marketing Office is located on the lower level of the the north end of Hutcherson Center. The staff is responsible for communicating and relaying information regarding Wayland's athletic schedules, events and athletes to the Sooner Athletic Conference, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and other media outlets such as newspapers and radio and television stations.

The Athletics Media Relations & Marketing Department is responsible for keeping and posting statistics for all athletic contests hosted at Wayland and provides fans with live stats and streaming video and audio at select home games throughout the season. The staff also provides photography at home events and creates photo galleries on the athletics web site.

Statistics and other media services
Gameday programs are provided at home events. Rosters are available prior to scheduled events upon request and can be delivered in a StatCrew roster file or a Word document. Post-game statistics are available as an .xml, .html, PDF or StatCrew packed file.

Internet is available at all pressboxes and scorers tables through either wireless or ethernet connection. Contact the Athletics Media Relations & Marketing Department 48 hours prior to an event to request access to the pressbox or scorers table. Appropriate credentials must be provided.

Credentials
Credentials are limited to working print and electronic media representatives and to others whose duties make necessary the use of pressboxes and the scorers table. Photography credentials also are available to the media and must be requested. Direct all requests for working credentials to the athletics media relations & marketing staff at least 48 hours in advance of the event to be covered.
