A senior center-back from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Alex led WBU's defense in a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference shutouts, a 0-0 double-overtime tie against Central Christian and a 3-0 victory over OCU that kept the Pioneers unbeaten in conference (2-0-2). They were the fourth and fifth shutouts of the season for WBU (6-3-2).
 
"Alex did a captain's job leading our defense. He was excellent individually in winning his tackles and challenges and kept everyone around him checked-in mentally,” coach Robert Ssejjemba said.
