RJ helped the Pioneer basketball team to a pair of one-point wins, extending their streak to a season-high five straight, before a loss at Sooner Athletic Conference-leading Science & Arts of Oklahoma.
A junior guard from DeSoto, RJ led the Pioneers in scoring in all three games, twice hitting 17 and, in a 61-60 road upset of Texas Wesleyan, 23 points that was just three off his season-high. That included a season-best five 3-pointers. The win over the Rams, who are receiving NAIA Top 25 votes, avenged a 29-point loss earlier in the season.
