At Saturday's Wes Kittley Invitational hosted by Abilene Christian University, Wayne posted the NAIA's best efforts of the season in both the long jump and the triple jump. His long jump of 25 feet, 1 1/2 inches is the NAIA's best by more than a foot, and his triple jump of 50, 6 1/4 is the best by almost 1 1/2 feet. It's also the second-longest in school history, behind only the school-record 51-4 1/4 set by Myran Roundtree in 2011. "That's special," Coach Rohan Thompson said. "Both of his jumps were pretty impressive. I was real happy with that."
