The Pioneer baseball team experienced its first winning season and were in the top-25 poll for the first time since 2010. Wayland finished the year 33-22 which included an impressive 16-game win streak.

Josh Alexander, Tom Bailey, Mark Davis, Tyler Doolittle, and Aaron Vallance all made the All-Sooner Athletic Conference Second Team, while Alexander was awarded a gold glove for his performance in the field.
