In the opening meet of the indoor season, Alexis turned in two terrific performances at the Texas Tech Open. In the 200 meters, she ran the NAIA’s fastest time of the season thus far, clocking a 24.09 to win the race ahead of 43 other runners. “That’s really fast,” coach Rohan Thompson said. Alexis also helped Wayland’s 4x400 relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 3:53.30, the second-fastest of the season in the NAIA.
