She scored a career-high 25 points to go with seven assists (one off her season-best), three rebounds and a steal as Wayland almost knocked off defending national champion and second-ranked Oklahoma City, 80-78. In an 85-67 win over Southwestern Christian, Laura had 18 points, six assists, four boards, one steal and one block. She made 8-of-14 (57 percent) 3-pointers on the week.
