At the NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships in Oklahoma City, Bjoern Globke placed sixth in four events and was the top point-producer for the Pioneer men, who finished eighth as a team with 174 points. Bjoern was sixth in the 100-yard butterfly (56.01 seconds) and sixth in the 200 butterfly (2:03.48), plus helped the 200 medley relay (1:32.53) and the 400 medley relay (3:25.11) teams to a sixth-place finishes. The sophomore from Rostack, Germany, also placed 12^th in the 200 individual medley (1:56.28). Coach Alyson Hannan: “Bjoern did an absolutely terrific job."
