Zach, a junior from Spring, Texas, turned in the NAIA’s third-best triple jump of the young outdoor season with a leap of 48 feet, 3½ inches at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open. At the NAIA Indoor National Championships earlier this season, Zach finished fifth in the long jump and won the national title in the triple jump.
