A freshman from Madrid, Spain, Marina led the women’s golf team to an eighth-place finish at the NAIA National Championships. Playing at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga., Marina shot rounds of 76-80-77-76 to finish at 21-over-par 309, tying her for 22nd place in the 140-plus player field. The eighth-place team finish matched the program’s highest finish ever at nationals.
