The Pioneer golf team won tournaments in Pueblo, Colo.; Amarillo; Doral, Fla.; and Lubbock, with Ryan Connolly posting two individual victories and Steven Diack one. Wayland placed third at the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament before playing fifth at the NAIA National Championships. Among their many post-season honors, Connolly was NAIA All-American First Team, Ian Ansett was Second Team and Diack was Third Team. Andrew Williamson and George Scanlon were named to the Phil Mickelson NAIA All-Freshman Team.
