In duals Sunday against Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) and New Mexico Highlands in Albuquerque, the 5-foot-10, 174-pound Alvarez posted two wins. He won both matches by decision, 9-6 vs. Embry-Riddle and 11-2 vs. HIghlands. Alvarez is a junior from Hereford.
