A 6-foot-3, 195-pound senior guard from Memphis, Tenn., Fondren bested his previous season-high by 13 points by scoring 30 in the Pioneers' 84-70 win over No. 4 John Brown. He made all seven of his 3-point attempts and was 11-of-13 overall from the field. In their game against No. 18 Rogers St., he scored 11 points and was 3-of-6 from long range. He was one rebound short of a double-double in both games and totaled eight steals. Said coach Matt Garnett after the JBU win: "Reggie is a competitor in the truest sense of the word. He did a really good job of making plays within our offense. He competed hard within what we wanted him to do."
