In the season-opening Hotel Indigo at the Alamo Saints Classic hosted by Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio, Mallorie led the Pioneers with 29 kills (2.42 per game). The 5-foot-8 sophomore libero from Brownfield also had the second-most digs (36) and aces (6) as the Pioneers went 2-2, defeating Xavier of Louisiana and Tennessee Wesleyan while falling to No. 20 Evangel, Mo., and tournament winner OLLU.
