Telecia, a freshman from St. Catherine, Jamaica, came away a two-time national champion at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Johnson City, Tenn. First she won the long jump with a mark of 19 feet, 5¼ inches, a career-best by more than a foot, then was first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.54 seconds. Briscoe helped the Pioneers to a third-place team finish.
