At the Ross Black Open hosted by New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, Elizabeth ran a personal-best time of 2 minutes, 13.45 seconds in the 800, which when adjusted for altitude (2:12.99) represents the third-fastest time in the NAIA this season and an national qualifying “A” standard! The freshman from Greenville, S.C., was named Sooner Athletic Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week.
