At the West Texas A&M Last Chance Meet in Canyon, Daniel qualified for nationals in the triple jump with a mark of 47 feet, 4½ inches. He met the “B” qualifying standard and was just one centimeter away from qualifying with an “A” standard. Daniel also plays wide receiver for the WBU football team.
