Riley, a 197-pound senior from Chickasha, Okla., won his weight class at the Wayland Baptist Invitational, winning all four of his matches. The defending Sooner Athletic Conference champion currently ranked 11^th in the NAIA, Riley won once by fall, once by tech fall (18-2) and twice by decision (9-2, 6-0) as he defeated two wrestlers from Richland College and one each from Schreiner and Otero Junior College (Colo.).

According to assistant coach Chad Cook, "Riley did what he does. He was pretty dominant and controlled every match."
