Summer helped Wayland to a runner-up finish at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships at Lincoln Park Golf Club in Oklahoma City. The Pioneers opened the tournament by shooting 303, the program’s best score in three years that gave them a two-shot lead over 17^th-ranked and tournament host Oklahoma City University. Wayland followed that with a 310 and ended up in second place, 12 shots behind OCU.

A senior from Shallowater, Summer tied for fifth in the 51-golfer field to earn all-tournament honors. She opened with an even-par 72, her best competitive collegiate round, then turned in a second-round 79 for a 151 total.
