At the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament in Chickasha, Okla., Austin went 4-for-4 with four singles against Southwestern Assemblies of God. He was successful on both of his stolen-base attempts and scored one run.

For the season, Austin, a sophomore outfielder from Canyon, hit .347 and scored 26 runs, third on the team in both categories.
