James, a 5-foot-9 senior midfielder from Southport, Liverpool, England, led the Pioneers to a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference wins over Southwestern Assemblies of God, 2-1 on the road, and 3-0 over Central Christian, Kan.

James scored both of WBU’s goals against SAGU, including the game-winner in overtime, for his eighth career multi-goal match, three of which have come in his last six outings. He scored another goal against Central Christian to give him six points for the week.

A two-time first-team all-conference honoree, James now has 12 goals on the season, ranking third in the SAC. He has scored in all but two of Wayland’s 10 matches this year and continues to add to his program-best career goals total that currently stands at 32.
