A 6-foot-1, 175-pound senior wide receiver from Sherman, Brayln had a spectacular day in a 24-14 road win over Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Brayln caught five passes for a career-high 134 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown that helped the Pioneers build a 17-0 first-quarter lead. He averaged almost 27 yards per catch in his second 100-plus receiving game this season and came within 12 yards of the program record for receiving yards of 146 set by Ben Owen in 2016.
Brayln, who leads the team in receptions (29, tied for first in SAC), receiving yards (487) and receiving TDs (5), broke the team record with three TD catches in Wayland’s season-opening win over the University of St. Mary (Kan.).
