Nina, a junior from San Jose, Calif., captured first place in the 101-pound division at the prestigious Missouri Valley Open on Saturday in Marshall, Mo. An NAIA national runner-up last year as a sophomore, Nina won all four of her matches by technical fall or fall, including a 13-2 tech fall over Iverly Navarro of Providence in the finals.
