Darius is a 6-foot-1 freshman forward from Houston who plays on the Pioneers’ junior varsity team. According to men’s basketball assistant coach Adrian Davila, who serves as JV head coach, Darius is a strong-bodied, undersized forward who battles in the post against bigger athletes. Darius attended Hargrave High School where he was part of a very successful team. “He’s brought that winning attitude to Wayland," Davila said. "He’s a high-character guy and a tough competitor."
