Anders Ellingsberg was recently named to the Capitol One College Division Academic All-American team. To qualify, student-athletes must be a starter or an important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Ellingsberg, a senior from Drobak, Norway, carried a 3.55 GPA as a business administration major. He previously was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the second consecutive year, and last year he made the Capital One Academic All-America third team. On the course, Ellingsberg helped the Pioneers to a 16th place finish at NAIA nationals. The team was ranked 13th in the post-season poll.
