The men's wrestling team finished a program-best 16th place finish at the NAIA Championships in just their third season of competition. The top-20 performance put the Pioneers tied for 16th in the final poll of the year. Jose Alvarez placed second and Chris Hart placed 7th, giving WBU two all-Americans.
