A native of Liverpool, England, Jack Laurie joined the WBU men’s soccer staff as assistant coach prior to the 2019 season. A year later he also was named assistant coach for the women's program. Laurie played soccer for four years and was an NAIA All-American at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M., under current Pioneers coach Robert Ssejjemba. At USW he earned numerous athletic and academic honors, including Student-Athlete of the Year, all-conference, offensive player of the year and NAIA All-American.
