Wayland Baptist University basketball home games will be broadcast by longtime radio announcer Tom Hall for the remainder of the season, beginning Thursday night when the Flying Queens and Pioneers play their Sooner Athletic Conference home openers against Oklahoma Baptist University.
The games – beginning from Hutcherson Center at 6 p.m. for the Flying Queens and 8 p.m. for the Pioneers – can be heard locally on KKYN 106.9 FM, as well as on
www.wbuathletics.com through free video streaming. After Thursday, Wayland next hosts Mid-America Christian University at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
Hall, who serves as dean of students at WBU, has long broadcast WBU basketball, and for the past two seasons has handled play-by-play for Pioneer football. He previously broadcast Plainview High School sports.
