The Wayland Baptist men's basketball team has cancelled the remainder of its fall schedule due to issues involving COVID-19.
Since the Pioneers opened their season Oct. 30 with a 96-52 win over Arlington Baptist, the team's schedule has been interrupted by COVID-19 concerns, both at opposing schools and within the Pioneer team.
In all, WBU men's basketball will have 13 games – either that were originally scheduled or scheduled following cancellations – affected by COVID-19.
The Pioneers are scheduled to resume their schedule Jan. 2 with the first of 15 regular-season games.
