A big 3-pointer by Hill and layup by Linton Brown, and an and-one by Coleman gave the Pioneers a 41-35 lead heading into the halftime break.

The Pioneers found down to the Drovers 55-54 with just over eleven minutes left in regulation, but a successful layup by D'Michael Bellfield and four free throws by Coleman gave the Pioneers a 60-56 lead with ten minutes to go in regulation. The Pioneers led 67-65 with five minutes remaining after a tough 3-pointer by the Drovers, but Bol Tong scored 6 huge points off the bench for WBU to give them a 73-70 lead down the stretch.
