#10 Pioneers Impress at 2025 Lindenwood Duals

ST. CHARLES, MO. --- The 10^th ranked Wayland Baptist Women's Wrestling squad had a strong showing at the 2025 Lindenwood Duals, finishing 2-2 against multiple top ranked teams.

MEET OVERVIEW

The Pioneers opened the dual with an impressive victory against NCAA Division III 11^th ranked Simpson College, 29-13. Wayland Baptist won 7 of 10 matches with three coming by Decisions, two by way of Falls, one by Technical Fall, and one by Forfeit.

Wayland Baptist then took on NCAA Division II Quincy University where they overpowered the Hawks, 36-11. The Pioneers took 8 of 10 matches, including four by way of Technical Falls and four by way of Falls.

The Pioneers fell couldn't overcome NCAA Division II 2^nd ranked McKendree University and lost, 39-6. Reigning KCAC/SAC Women's Wrestler of the Week Jordan Suarez won the lone match for the Pioneers by way of Technical Fall, 10-0.

The last opponent the Pioneers challenged at the 2025 Lindenwood Duals was 8th ranked Lindsey Wilson (KY) where they fell short, 26-20. The Pioneers picked up three wins by way of Technical Fall and one via Fall.
