#7 WBU Women's Wrestling Competes in Grand View Open

Des Moines, IA - The #7 Wayland Baptist University Pioneers traveled to Iowa over the weekend to compete in the Grand View Open. WBU had five placers in the Gold Division and one in the Silver Division.

Placers included:

Gold Division

Third Place: #3 at 160 Mercy Adekuoroye and #6 at 180 Ambre Chevreau

Fifth Place: #8 at 103 Calli Connally and #13 at 160 Mohagany Casel

Sixth Place: 207 Faith Wooley

Silver Division

Fifth Place: 207 Jaedyn McNeil

The tournament closes out the regular season. The women turn their full attention to preparing for the Conference Tournament on Feb 27 in Wichita, KS.
