2012 at WBU: Played in nine games for the Pioneers…recorded 21 solo and 22 assisted tackles, including 7.5 tackles for loss…was in on 1.5 sacks and recovered two fumbles.

Prior to WBU: Attended South Plains College

High School: Lettered 3 years in football at Coronado High School…member of the area championship team at Coronado in 2007…1^st team all-district, all-city and all-South Plains in 2010…made 68 tackles senior season

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I wasn’t ready to “hang up” my cleats after an injury.

How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I always wanted to play so when I was 11 I started in junior high.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Receiving all-post season honors in 2010.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? Leadership and a high “motor.”

What are you goals for the future after college? Become a lawyer and be a successful family man, providing for my kids as best as possible.
