Biography
High school: Lettered in wrestling four years at Carroll Senior High School…member of district championship teams from 2011-2013…all-state wrestler as a junior and senior
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? Things fell into place for me to come to Wayland at the end of my senior year. I know now this is where God wanted me to be. I needed to strengthen my spiritual foundation. Wayland was and is the perfect place for me.
How did you get started wrestling and how old were you? I have extended family that faired pretty well at wrestling. I thought I’d give it a try in high school, and I have to say, things have been pretty good in wrestling.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Wrestling in college. It has been a long-time goal of mine.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I feel that I am a competitive 197-pounder. I am here to work towards my goals and help my teammates accomplish their goals.
What are you goals for the future after college? Become a bicycle mechanic, hike the Appalachian Trail, see Hawaii, travel abroad, compete in an Ironman, and serve my country.
