Prior to WBU: Cloud County Community College Cross Country 2013, Indoor & Outdoor Track 2014
2014 at WBU: Keter was the NAIA national champion becoming Wayland's second cross country champion since Kennedy Kithuka.
Athletic Awards and Achievements: Regional Cross Country Champion… 5th place Cross Country Nationals… 1:09 half-marathon to win 3rd place at Nationals… NJCAA 2014 Indoor Championships, 2nd in 5K, 3rd in 3K, 6th in One Mile Competition… NJCAA Outdoor Championship 3000M Steeplechase Champion, 2nd place in 5K… 6 times Region 6 Champion… 5 times All-American
Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I chose Wayland because I like the environment to excel academically and athletically.
How did you get started with Cross Country and Track and how old were you? Â I started running in 2012 when I was 20 with a hope to one day get a scholarship to compete in the USA.
What do you bring to your team both athletically and personally? Â My leadership skills
What are your goals for the future after college? To graduate and build a better world, inspire the young and help the elderly.
