Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I chose Wayland because it was the only school in Texas that represents women’s wrestling, and the coaching staff and team are phenomenal.

How did you get started wrestling and how old were you? My little brother wanted to learn and I was the practice dummy so I took the beating without getting any hardware, so I asked my dad if I could join the wrestling team.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Placing sixth at the U.S. Open in 2013.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I am a good workout partner.

What are you goals for the future after college? Become a coach and math teacher.
