Prior to WBU: Played at Weatherford C.C. from 2008 to 2010…averaged 16 points and 1.7 assists per game as a sophomore and 15.0 points as a freshman and shot a combined 48 percent from the field at Weatherford…played in eight games at Alabama during the 2010-11 season, averaging 2.6 points

High School: Attended prep school at New Hampton Prep in New Hampton, N.H...In his hometown Washington, D.C., Durant led Fairmont Heights High School to a 20-6 record...the squad also advanced to the Maryland Class 2A state finals...saw action on the suburban team at the Capitol Classic and was an honorable mention All-Met selection by The Washington Post
