Biography

Parents/Guardians: Mike and Judy Palmer

2013 at WBU: Started in 35 games for Wayland, primarily in left field…was second on the team in runs scored with 34…was 6-for-9  in stolen bases, second on the team…had walk-off hits against Eastern New Mexico on April 16 and No. 1 Oklahoma City on April 20

2012 at WBU: Started in 49-of-51 games played…stole 9 bases…was 2nd on the team in walks and hit-by-pitches with 26 and 7, respectively… hit first career homerun against Lindenwood on March 27.

High School: Lettered in baseball two years at Coronado HS…member of the 5A State Runner-Up team in 2011…all-district team two years…stole 30 bases senior year.

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? To play baseball and contribute to a good baseball team at Wayland.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? My parents bought me a glove for my birthday when I was five.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Making the all-state team.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? Speed and productivity.

What are your goals for the future after college? Go to pharmacy school.
