2013 at WBU: Played in all 10 games for the Pioneers…led the team with 114 tackles…had 10.5 tackles for a loss for 22 yards…recorded two sacks…recovered a fumble and returned it for 17 yards…named 1st Team All-CSFL Linebacker…preseason all-American in 2014

2012 at WBU: Played in nine games for the Pioneers…led the team in tackles with 33 solo and 35 assisted tackles…had 5.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

High school awards/honors: Lettered in football three years at Midland Lee High School…1st team all-district...all-State honorable mention.   

Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I felt like the Lord called me to come to Wayland to continue my studies.

How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I am the youngest of 5 sons. A few of my brothers played the sport so I followed in their footsteps.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Earning pre-season all-American recognition.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I bring a leadership quality both athletically and spiritually. I make an effort to represent Christ.

What are your goals for the future after college? Follow the Lord’s leading into the mission field.
