My name is Jonathan Ottenwalder and this will be my second year as an assistant baseball coach for Wayland Baptist University. I had the opportunity to come from the Dominican Republic to a prep school in Florida in 2015. From there I went on to play baseball for Clarendon College where I earned my associate’s degree. I then attended and played baseball for Wayland in 2018. In 2019 I received all conference and graduated in the fall with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After that I was a graduate assistant for WBU baseball and started the social media for the baseball team. I perused my master’s degree in education and became an assistant coach in 2022.
