2013 at WBU: Started in 33 games for the Pioneers, hitting .282…played four different positions for WBU over the season…hit his first career home run against Mid-America Christian on March 23
Prior to WBU: Played at Cisco College in 2010…played at Odessa College from 2011-12.
High School: Lettered in baseball at the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy.
Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I chose Wayland because I heard a lot about it. Also, I had hometown friends that played baseball here and I want to continue my education in business.
How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? I started when I was four years old. I had a background from my family…my dad and uncles played, and my brother played for New Mexico Junior College when they were the Junior College World Series Champions.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? I have won two Pony League World Series.
What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I will bring all my talent and knowledge to the field to help my teammates, and I have a positive attitude on and off the field.
What are your goals for the future after college? Graduate with an associate’s degree in sports management and have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
