High School: Lettered in baseball three years at Frenship HS…participated in the 2012 West Texas Coaches Association All-Star game .

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? Wayland is just 45 miles from home, so I would be able to be on my own but not be too far. Also, for the opportunity to play for a great Christian man like Coach Bass.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? I started playing baseball when I was four years old. I played LCAA tee-ball in Lubbock and ever since then, the game has been a huge part of my life.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Getting the opportunity to play college baseball.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I am going work as hard as possible to make myself better and the people around me better. Personally, I understand where my abilities came from Lord and Savior, so I just play for him always.

What are your goals for the future after college? I plan to finish up at Texas Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. One day I hope to start a family, but for now it’s school and baseball.
