Prior to WBU: Played at Seward County Community College.

High School: Lettered in baseball four years at Artesia HS…made the all-district, all-star and all-state baseball teams…member of the 2008 state championship football team in 2008.

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? Wayland gave me the opportunity to further my education and the chance to continue my journey with baseball.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? I started playing on my sister’s softball team at the age of three and haven’t stopped since then.  

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Winning the Super Regional Tournament to go play in Grand-Junction, Colo. for the Junior College World Series.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I bring leadership, friendship and am true lead-off hitter.

What are your goals for the future after college? I plan to study Spanish until I become fluent. The Air Force or Border Patrol is where I plan to go.
