2013 at WBU: Caught 15 passes for 130 yards in nine games...caught a season high five passes for 41 yards against Oklahoma Baptist…named to the CSFL all-academic and champions of character team.
2012 at WBU: Played in nine games for the Pioneers…reeled in 24 catches for 196 yards, averaging 21.8 yards per game…scored a touchdown in the team’s final game of the season vs. Panhandle State.
High School: Lettered 3 years in football at Lovington High School…won 3 state championships at Lovington High…2^nd team all-district in 2007…1^st team all-district in 2008…2^nd team all-county, 1^st team all-district and all-state in 2009…had 8 touchdowns and 700 receiving yards senior year of high school
Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I missed football and wanted to help start the program.
How did you get started with your sport, and how old were you? I’ve loved football my whole life. I was told I couldn’t play when I was five (heart condition).
What is your proudest athletic achievement to date? Winning the state championship three times.
What do you bring to your team, athletically or personally? I’m a vocal leader while also leading by action. I am dependable, I have great hands, and hopefully I can help bring guys on the team to Christ.
What are your future goals after college? I want to raise a family. I also want to coach college football.
