2014 at WBU: Played in nine games for the Pioneers...made seven tackles
High school awards/honors: Lettered in football four years at Childress High School…all-district and all-state middle linebacker…had 148 tackles as a senior…graduated in the top 5% of his class
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I chose to come to Wayland because they had the degree plan I was looking for and also because of the good people here.
How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I got started playing football through flag football as a kid. I was five when I first started playing.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? My sophomore year in basketball we went four rounds in the playoffs even though we weren’t picked to make it out of district.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I feel like I bring one more little piece that the team needs to reach our goals.
What are your goals for the future after college? My main goal for the future is to have a good job and raise a family in a small town.
