2013 at WBU: Played in all 10 games for the Pioneers…recorded 12 solo and 18 assisted tackles…recorded two tackles for a loss…was in on half a sack
High school awards/honors: Lettered in football three years at Borden County High School…all-state tight end as a junior...all-state as a senior…named defensive MVP senior year…member of 2009 state championship team and 2011 state runner-up team.   
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I chose Wayland Baptist University because I got a scholarship to play the sport I love. Wayland allowed me to continue to play the sport of football while I pursue a degree in business finance.
How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I started playing football in the fourth grade with the dream of being able to play college football one day.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? The proudest moment I have had is my senior year of football when I helped lead my team to the state game.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I bring leadership and experience to the team. I do not talk much but I try to lead with my actions.
What are your goals for the future after college? My goal is to graduate from college with a business finance degree and obtain a job in the business department, then possibly start a family of my own one day.
