High School: Lettered in track and cross country for four years at Perryton HS…member of 3A state qualifying teams from 2009-2012…state qualifier in the 800 meters

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? To become a better person, continue running earn a degree, and fulfill my mission on earth.

How did you get started running cross country and how old were you? I remember watching my sister have a lot of success in high school, and I wanted to be just like her. I began training and fell in love with running.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Leading my team to the regional and state meets in high school. The bond built between our team will never be broken.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I work my tail off no matter what I feel like, I don’t complain, I lead by example, I give everything I have, and I’m willing to sacrifice. 

What are your goals for the future after college? Earn a degree, get a job and raise a family, and live in harmony.
